Shipping Information
Order Processing: All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
Shipping Options:
- Standard Shipping: $12.95 via DHL or FedEx – Delivery within 10-15 business days after shipment
- Free Shipping: Available on orders over $50 via EMS – Delivery within 15-25 business days after shipment
We ship globally, excluding some Asian countries and remote areas. You’ll receive tracking information once your order ships.
Our Return Commitment
We offer a 15-day return window from the date of delivery for most products, giving you time to inspect your:
- HO Scale models (including track components, bridges, and rolling stock)
- Automotive parts and armor collections
- Unopened Gundam and collectible figures
- Modeling applicators and tools
Non-Returnable Items
To protect our collector community, we cannot accept returns for:
- All Clearance items (as marked in our menu)
- Opened figure packages (Gundam and other collectible figures)
- Special order items (discontinued Athearn parts or custom HO Scale components)
Return Process
Follow these steps to initiate a return or exchange:
- Contact Us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
- Receive Authorization – Our team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Package Securely – Use original packaging for HO Scale models and include all parts
- Ship to: Athearn Shop Returns, 2529 Lightning Point Drive, Memphis, US 38110
- Wait for Processing – Allow 3-5 business days after we receive your return for inspection
Refund Timeline & Methods
Once your return is approved:
- Timing: Refunds process within 3 business days after inspection completion
- Method: Funds return to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Exchange Process
For exchanges (subject to availability):
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly state your desired replacement item in your initial email
- We’ll ship the replacement once we receive your return (additional charges may apply for price differences)
Modeler’s Tip:
We recommend filming the unboxing of high-value items like HO Scale bridges or armor models for documentation. Check all small components (like Athearn parts or Code 83 track pieces) immediately upon receipt and contact us about damaged items within 48 hours of delivery for priority handling.
